Tsitska Tsolikauri Qvevri by Vartsikhe Marani

Vartsikhe Marani produce 100% natural wine made with traditional technology in Qvevri. The vineyards are cultivated at 200 meters above sea level in Baghdati region in Imereti. The Tsitska Tsolikauri Qvevri is fermented with 30% of skin contact in traditional clay vessel - Qvevri. Skin contact in qvevri was prolonged for 5 months. Each bottle stands under strict control and can only be sold after signature by the winemaker. The amount is limited, each bottle has its own, unique number.

This Qvevri wine from the Gurjaani region in Kakheti is made from the old Rkatsiteli grape using an ancient Georgian traditional method. The mashed grapes, together with the skin and seeds, are placed in large clay vessels, the qvevris, which are buried underground. This allows the wine to mature in its natural condition for 6-7 months.

Khikhvi Qvevri, traditional wine from the Qvevri Wine Cellar

This Khikhvi Qvevri from the Gurjaani region in Kakheti is made in Qvevri according to ancient Georgian tradition. The Khikhvi grapes are gently pressed and fermented together with the skin and seeds. The natural maturation of the wine in qvevri takes 6-7 months.

Qvevri Wine Cellar`s Mtsvivani Kakhuri Qvevri

Qvevri wine cultivated from the Mtsvivani Kakhuri grape variety in the Gurjaani region of Kakheti. The fermentation takes place with skin and seeds according to ancient Georgian tradition in Qvevri. This creates a natural wine with intense aromas. The maturation time in Qvevri is 6-7 months.

Muskaturi SB Qvevri by the family vineyard Tchotiashvili

Tchotiashvili only uses grapes from their own vineyards in Saniore, Kakheti region. SB stands for "Specially Bottled". Each bottle is subject to strict control and may only be sold after signature by the winemaker. The quantity is limited, each bottle has its own unique number. The Muskaturi SB is a qvevri wine, produced with traditional Kachetian technology. The maceration lasts 7 months, on full grape skins with pips and stems. No additional substances are used in the winemaking process. Sulphites (SO2) are only used to disinfect the Qvevri. The Rkatsiteli Muskaturi vine was planted in 2006, 450m above sea level. The soil has a light mechanical structure (Cordier carbonate sandy soil) and does not require watering.

Each bottle is subject to strict control and may only be sold after signature by the winemaker. The quantity is limited, each bottle has its own unique number. Chitistvala SB is a Qvevri wine produced with traditional Kachetian technology. The maceration lasts 6 months in Qvevri on full grape skins with pips and stems. After that, the wine is matured in oak barrels for another 3 months. No additional substances are used in the winemaking process. Sulphites (SO2) are only used to disinfect the Qvevri. The Chitistvala vine was planted in 2002, 450m above sea level. The soil has a light mechanical structure (Cordier carbonate sandy soil) and does not require watering.

The quantity is limited, each bottle has its own unique number. Rkatsiteli Reserve is a Qvevri wine produced with traditional Kachetian technology. The maceration lasts 7 months in Qvevri on full grape skins with pips and stems. Sulphites (SO2) are only used to disinfect the Qvevri. The Rkatsiteli vines are over 40 years old, located at the bottom of the Caucasus up to 480m above sea level. The soil has a light mechanical structure (Cordier carbonate sandy soil) and does not require watering.
