The family winery Kapistoni is located in the village Saguramo close to the Kartli region, where wine has been made for thousands of years.

 

The Kapistoni winery is run by young winemakers who follow their family tradition of at least five generations


Kapistoni Winery focuses on rare, central Georgian wines such as Shavkapito, Danakharuli, Asuretuli Shavi, Chinebuli (Chinuri) and Mukhamtsvane. The wines are produced exclusively according to the ancient Georgian tradition in huge clay pots, the so-called Qvevri. Wine production places great value on a harmonious environment, because the winemakers are convinced that good wine can only mature in a healthy atmosphere. These natural, unfiltered wines are balanced and full-bodied.
