Georgian qvevri wine (orange wine, amber wine), the originally natural wine
White georgian qvevri wines are very different from classic white wines. The production in the Qvevri takes place - as usual only with red wines - with skin and seeds on the mash. In addition to the rich color, a distinctive tannin structure develops. The result is a straw yellow to orange wine with powerful, intense aromas. The white qvevri wine made according to the traditional method is often also referred to as orange wine or amber wine.
